All of our trainers hold their CrossFit Level2 Certificates and more. They’ve been trained in anatomy, physiology, and nutrition. They understand that no two bodies are alike and will work with you to get fit at the right pace.

Kansas has never been a stranger to an active lifestyle. She grew up on a horse farm, played most sports in school and continues to compete in professional rodeo. Prior to finding CrossFit, she believed she was living a healthy and fit lifestyle – always “moving” with the farm, riding horses and her profession as an RMT. Her CrossFit intro proved slightly otherwise.

In addition to the obvious changes she witnessed in her physical fitness and appearance, Kansas fell in love with the sport for many other reasons as well; including the community aspect, the betterment of one’s overall self and for the opportunity to impact other’s lives in a meaningful and positive way. Relocation has provided her with a unique opportunity to be a part of many different CrossFit communities, forging long lasting friendships and mentors while diversifying her experience in the industry.

On top of being an athlete and coach, she is a practicing RMT that is specialized in deep tissue and rehab work. She has been in the field for 7 years, spending the last three working with one of the most sought after sports physiotherapists in Peterborough, ON. Her background and experience in the health services field has proven to be a complimentary asset in her coaching, with an emphasis on promoting safe and proper body mechanics in addition to managing and preventing injuries. 

She is passionate about the platform that CrossFit provides – encouraging individuals to be healthy, strong and in love with what their body is capable of; and inspiring others to push their physical and mental limits on a journey to finding their best self.

Savannah “Sav”, started dancing, playing recreational sports and exercising at an early age which is where she learned the importance of hard work, passion and commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Since her first introduction to CrossFit in 2009, Savannah has evolved into a competitive CrossFit athlete with numerous podium finishes around the GTA. She has been successful in climbing the worldwide leader board in seven consecutive years of The CrossFit Open. Her personal achievement is part of the foundation that developed her professional career as a CrossFit Coach and Personal Trainer of five years.

Savannah is always striving to become the best version of herself and brings that positivity and inspiration to her clients, friends and training partners day in and day out.

While personal achievement as an athlete and coach will always be an important part of her life, Savannah believes that guiding a large community towards an improved quality of life is just as important, if not more!

Clayton Harding - Coach - Carbon Heights CrossFit in Lindsay

Clayton is a talented and humble athlete. He started CrossFit as a teen 3 years ago and executes a great amount of drive and determination in both his training and coaching.

Shortly after joining an affiliated CrossFit gym, he built a fully equipped garage gym to maximize his training. The walls of that garage are ``graffitied`` with his personal goals – some crossed off, some still pending.

He had high hopes of being competitive while still in the parameters of the teen division but suffered a minor back injury, impeding his final season. Although this obstacle wrinkled his plans, Clayton used it as an opportunity to further educate himself on proper movement mechanics and injury prevention – strengthening both his body and attitude. He brings that experience and knowledge to his coaching today and takes great initiative in teaching others how to refine their movements and skills.
